BIOGRAPHY

Angela Nasuta, a born and raised Baltimore native, joined Breza Law in 2021 after spending more than a decade focusing on real estate work-out and foreclosure transactions with a well-known and well-respected regional firm. Her career at the firm began during college in paraprofessional roles and she later joined as an associate attorney upon finishing law school and the Maryland bar exam. After joining both the Maryland and District of Columbia bars, Ms. Nasuta expanded her practice, including serving as counsel to national and local financial institutions, and as substituted trustee. She is admitted to the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland and the District of Columbia, representing creditor clients in bankruptcy proceedings.

Ms. Nasuta has overseen countless real estate transactions with respect to matters regarding title as well as the practice and procedures controlling real estate closings. She participates as a panel member in trainings to national mortgage servicers and contributes to industry publications and trade organization sponsored training materials, with focuses on default servicing.

Ms. Nasuta continues to focus her practice in real estate, representing both commercial institutions and private investors, as well as handling real estate closings and title underwriting. She is a licensed title agent in the State of Maryland, and is appointed with 2 of the nation’s leading title insurance carriers, First American Title Insurance Company and Fidelity National Insurance Company (through Chicago Title Insurance Company).

Ms. Nasuta and her husband both cheer on the Ravens and O’s, in true Baltimorean form, and also enjoy boating, concerts, musical theater, and trips to the beach in their spare time. An avid animal lover, Ms. Nasuta is also very active in animal welfare causes, as well as the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life and veterans-support organizations.

EDUCATION

Ms. Nasuta completed her undergraduate studies majoring in Accounting at Towson University in Towson, Maryland. After participating during her sophomore year in The Fund for American Studies’ Capital Semester Program in Washington, D.C., immersed in government, public policy and economics coursework at Georgetown University, Ms. Nasuta furthered her studies with the addition of an Economics minor to her degree. Interested in continuing her education in the Baltimore area, Ms. Nasuta pursued her M.B.A through a joint-degree program between University of Baltimore and Towson University, where she was honored with giving the commencement speech for her graduating class, and earned her J.D. from University of Baltimore.

PRACTICE AREAS

Ms. Nasuta represents both commercial institutions and private investors, focusing on real estate closings, title underwriting, and default servicing. Ms. Nasuta is a licensed title agent in Maryland and is appointed with First American Title Insurance Company and Fidelity National Insurance Company.
