Andrew M. Winick, Esq.

Andrew Winick, a New Yorker who found his way to Maryland almost thirty years ago, proudly graduated from the University of Baltimore School of Law. Since starting his career in 1996, Mr. Winick’s practice areas have ranged from criminal defense, civil trial and appellate work, to a more commercial and corporate-focused practice, including finance and real estate matters. His wide range of experience has made him a valuable asset to clients and colleagues.

He currently serves as counsel to many commercial and residential investor groups, regional and local banks, as well as various religious and other non-profit entities. Other members of the bar and business community retain Mr. Winick to serve as an expert witness and consult him for insight and advice.

Mr. Winick has demonstrated a long-standing commitment to non-profit organizations, serving as counsel and as a strong supporter (services, time, and financial resources) of philanthropic missions. He has experience representing religious organizations of multiple denominations. He actively supports veterans’ causes and endeavors to give back to the community whenever possible.

The State of New Jersey has licensed Mr. Winick to practice law since 1996, and the States of New York and Maryland have licensed him since 1997. In 2000, he acquired his license in the District of Columbia. In addition, numerous federal bars have admitted him, including the United States District Court for the District of Maryland, District of New Jersey, District of Columbia, and the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals.

In addition to his law licenses, Mr. Winick is an approved real estate title agent in Maryland, Virginia, and Pennsylvania. He is authorized to review and issue title through the Fidelity National Title Insurance family as well as First American Title Insurance Company.

When outside the office, Mr. Winick enjoys many outdoor activities, including hiking, biking, and beach time. He is the proud father of an opera singer; his daughter earned her Master’s Degree in Vocal Performance from the Bienen School of Music at Northwestern University in 2024.
